Description
The issue is a remote code execution vulnerability that exists in the parsing of JPF files, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Tungsten Automation Power PDF. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability, as the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The problem results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
