Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Hello In All Languages plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0.6
Description
The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on a function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to update settings and inject malicious web scripts via a forged request. This can happen if attackers can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.0.6, update to a version higher than 1.0.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable function until a patch is available. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved.
