CVE-2024-12635

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Docs plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.0
Description The WP Docs plugin for WordPress is susceptible to time-based SQL Injection via the dir id parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.2.0, consider disabling the dir id parameter or restricting access to it until a more comprehensive patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
