CVE-2024-1348

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Shortcodes and extra features for Phlox theme plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.15.5
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the custom JS parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.15.5, update to a version later than 2.15.5 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the custom JS parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
