Description
The issue allows unauthenticated attackers to view protected posts via the REST API, even when maintenance mode is enabled. This is possible due to sensitive information exposure in the plugin.
Recommendations
For CGC Maintenance Mode plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.2, consider disabling the REST API or restricting access to it until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to protected posts to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
