Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Post Grid – Shortcode, Gutenberg Blocks and Elementor Addon for Post Grid plugin versions up to, and including, 7.7.1

Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the section title tag attribute due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 7.7.1, update to a version later than 7.7.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the section title tag attribute to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, restrict permissions to prevent contributors and above from injecting arbitrary web scripts.
