Description The Under Construction / Maintenance Mode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain the contents of posts and pages when maintenance mode is active, thus bypassing the protection provided by the plugin. The issue is exploited via the REST API.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.6, consider disabling the REST API or restricting access to it until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the maintenance mode feature to prevent exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
