Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Print Labels with Barcodes plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.4.6
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the template and javascript label fields. This allows authenticated attackers with subscriber access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 3.4.6, update to a version higher than 3.4.6 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the template and javascript label fields to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
