VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Otter Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks, Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor & FSE PRO plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.6.3
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via a file upload form that allows SVG uploads, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.6.3, update to version 2.6.4 or later, which sanitizes uploaded SVG files, preventing the execution of arbitrary web scripts.
