Description The issue allows a local attacker to perform an out-of-bounds write, potentially enabling arbitrary code execution, when a user opens a malicious DCM file on affected installations.

Recommendations For versions 1.4.1 and prior, consider avoiding the use of malicious DCM files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the ability to open DCM files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
