CVE-2024-1795

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions HUSKY – Products Filter for WooCommerce Professional plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.5.2
Description The issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to perform SQL Injection via the name parameter in the "woof" shortcode. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query, making it possible to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.3.5.2, consider disabling the name parameter in the "woof" shortcode as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the "woof" shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the name parameter in the affected shortcode until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
