Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Devolutions Server versions 2023.3.14.0 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to improper session management in the identity provider authentication flow. This allows an authenticated user, via an identity provider such as Okta or Microsoft O365, to remain authenticated even after their user account is disabled or deleted in the identity provider. The user will stay authenticated until the Devolutions Server token expires.
Recommendations
For Devolutions Server versions 2023.3.14.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for the improper session management issue to prevent authenticated users from staying logged in after their account is disabled or deleted in the identity provider.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
