CVE-2024-2000

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Premium Addons PRO plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.9.12
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the navigation dots parameter of the Multi Scroll Widget. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.9.12, update to a version higher than 2.9.12 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Multi Scroll Widget for users with contributor-level access and above until a patch is available. Avoid using the navigation dots parameter in the Multi Scroll Widget until the issue is resolved.
