Description The issue allows authenticated attackers with author access and above to upload files to arbitrary locations on the server via the handle folders file upload function. This is a Directory Traversal vulnerability.

Recommendations For Folders plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 3.0, update to a version later than 3.0 to resolve the issue. For Folders Pro plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 3.0.2, update to a version later than 3.0.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the handle folders file upload function until a patch is available.
