CVE-2024-2115

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions LearnPress – WordPress LMS Plugin versions up to, and including, 4.0.0
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the filter users functions, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to that of a teacher via a forged request. This can be achieved if an attacker can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.0.0, update to a version later than 4.0.0 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the filter users functions until a patch is available.
