Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's shortcodes, such as bw contact button and bw button shortcodes, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.10.0, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the bw contact button and bw button shortcodes to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, restrict permissions to prevent authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions from injecting arbitrary web scripts.
