Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, specifically the wrapper link URL value. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.4.0, update to a version higher than 2.4.0 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functionality for users with contributor-level and above permissions until a patch is available.
