CVE-2024-2341

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.6.7.7
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the keys parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with subscriber access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.6.7.7, update to a version later than 1.6.7.7 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the keys parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
