Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Post Meta widget due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations
For Gum Elementor Addon plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.2, update to a version later than 1.3.2 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Post Meta widget to minimize the risk of exploitation.
