Description The vulnerability is related to the hisi acc vfio pci module in the Linux kernel. When the optional PRE COPY support was added to speed up the device compatibility check, it failed to update the saving/resuming data pointers based on the fd offset. This results in migration data corruption and errors when the device gets started on the destination. The issue can cause errors such as qm axi rresp and qm db timeout.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
