Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read in the amf as establish req function at /tasks/amf/amf as.cpp. This allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted NAS packet.

Recommendations For Magma version 1.8.0, consider disabling the amf as establish req function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. For OAI EPC Federation version 1.20, restrict access to the /tasks/amf/amf as.cpp module to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
