Description
The issue is caused by an uninitialized pointer dereference in the NasPdu::NasPdu component, allowing attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted InitialUEMessage message sent to the AMF.
Recommendations
For OpenAirInterface CN5G AMF versions up to 2.0.0, update to a version that fixes the uninitialized pointer dereference issue in the NasPdu::NasPdu component to prevent Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
