Description An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE where the "pins endpoint" is susceptible to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack through a crafted request.

Recommendations For versions 15.11 through 16.9.7, update to version 16.9.7 or later. For versions 16.10 through 16.10.5, update to version 16.10.5 or later. For versions 16.11 through 16.11.2, update to version 16.11.2 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "pins endpoint" until a patch is available.
