CVE-2024-1592

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Complianz – GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 6.5.6
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the process delete function in class-DNSMPD.php. This allows unauthenticated attackers to delete GDPR data requests via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 6.5.6, consider disabling the process delete function in class-DNSMPD.php as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the class-DNSMPD.php component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the process delete function until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
