CVE-2024-26668

CVSS v2.0

6.2

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the netfilter: nft limit module in the Linux kernel, where configurations that cause integer overflow are rejected. This occurs with very large requests, such as 17gbyte/s, and is resolved by rejecting bogus configurations where the internal token counter wraps around, rather than having incorrect rate limits.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
