Description A potential loop in the nsim dev trap report work() function has been resolved. Many syzbot reports include a trace that indicates if nsim dev trap report work() cannot grab the mutex, it should rearm itself at least one jiffie later. The issue is related to the netdevsim driver and may cause problems when the nsim dev trap report work() function is called.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
