Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
IBM Engineering Test Management versions 7.0.2 through 7.0.3
Description
The issue allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, potentially altering the intended functionality and leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. This is due to a lack of protection for the web page structure, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.
Recommendations
For versions 7.0.2 and 7.0.3, consider disabling the Web UI functionality until a patch is available to prevent the execution of arbitrary JavaScript code. Restrict access to the Web UI to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Web UI for sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
