| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description
The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing for potential exploitation. This could enable a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks. Specifically, it is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields, leading to the execution of malicious JavaScript in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.19 to resolve the stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Avoid using vulnerable fields in the affected Adobe Experience Manager versions until the issue is resolved.
