CVSS v2.0
5.5
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description
The issue is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It occurs due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing an attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link. If an attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, update to a version later than 6.5.19 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using links that reference vulnerable pages until the issue is resolved.
