Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description
The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks. This stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. When a victim browses to the page containing the vulnerable field, malicious JavaScript may be executed in their browser.
Recommendations
For versions 6.5.19 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for this stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability to prevent malicious script injection into form fields. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields until a patch is available.
