Description A Buffer Overflow issue allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) when reading images in EXR format via the Imf 2 2::DwaCompressor::Classifier::Classifier() function.

Recommendations For FreeImage version 3.19.0, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the Imf 2 2::DwaCompressor::Classifier::Classifier() function when handling EXR images until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
