Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Employee Management System version 1.0
Description
The issue allows attackers to run arbitrary SQL commands via the
admin id parameter in "update-admin.php". This can potentially lead to unauthorized access and manipulation of database content.Recommendations
For Employee Management System version 1.0, consider restricting access to the "update-admin.php" endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the
admin id parameter in the affected endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
