Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the slitems parameter in the WL Special Day Offer Widget. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor access or above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.8.3, consider disabling the WL Special Day Offer Widget until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the slitems parameter to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Update to a version that includes the necessary input sanitization and output escaping fixes to fully resolve the issue.
