Description A critical issue has been found in the Tenda FH1202 router, affecting the formexeCommand function in the /goform/execCommand file. The manipulation of the cmdinput argument leads to a stack-based buffer overflow, which can be initiated remotely. An exploit for this issue has been publicly disclosed and can be used. The vendor was contacted about this issue but did not respond.
Recommendations As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the formexeCommand function in the /goform/execCommand file until a patch is available.
