Description The issue is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing a remote attacker to conduct an XSS attack.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable fields in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
