CVE-2024-29878

CVSS v3.1

7.1

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Sentrifugo version 3.2
Description A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue exists in Sentrifugo, specifically through the /sentrifugo/index.php/sitepreference/add endpoint, where the description parameter is vulnerable. This could allow a remote user to send a specially crafted URL to the victim and steal their session data.
Recommendations For Sentrifugo version 3.2, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the /sentrifugo/index.php/sitepreference/add endpoint or restricting access to the description parameter until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
