Description
An authentication bypass issue exists in the
EdgeLoginServiceImpl.doLogin() function within wizardLogin, allowing a remote attacker to bypass the authentication process. This issue is related to weaknesses in the authentication procedure.Recommendations
For versions 8.1 and 9.2, consider disabling the
EdgeLoginServiceImpl.doLogin() function within wizardLogin as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the edge-app-base-webui.jar component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the wizardLogin functionality in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
