Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
GhozyLab, Inc. Web Icons versions n/a through 1.0.0.10
Description
The issue is related to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation, also known as Cross-site Scripting, which allows Stored XSS. This means that an attacker can inject malicious scripts into the web page, potentially affecting users who access the page.
Recommendations
For versions n/a through 1.0.0.10, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling any functionality that allows user input to be directly reflected in the web page generation process until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive areas of the web application to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using any parameters that could be used to inject malicious scripts in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
