Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description
The issue is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim’s browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
