| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description
The issue exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code using a specially crafted URL. This is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. If an attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using specially crafted URLs that could execute malicious JavaScript code until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
