Description
The issue is a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could allow an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a webpage. When a victim browses to the page containing the vulnerable script, malicious JavaScript may be executed in their browser, resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the victim's browser. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the webpage structure.
Recommendations
For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable web pages until a patch is available. Avoid using the vulnerable webpage until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
