CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields, allowing malicious JavaScript to be executed in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate protection of the web page structure, which may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.19 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to the affected pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable fields in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
