CVE-2024-3217

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Directory Kit plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.0
Description The issue allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to extract sensitive information from the database due to insufficient escaping on user-supplied parameters attribute value and attribute id, and lack of sufficient preparation on existing SQL queries. This enables attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.3.0, consider disabling the attribute value and attribute id parameters until a patch is available to prevent SQL injection attacks. Restrict access to sensitive database information to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
