Description
The issue is related to a program in the AutomationDirect C-MORE EA9 HMI that copies a buffer of a size controlled by the user into a limited sized buffer on the stack, which may lead to a stack overflow. This can result in denial-of-service conditions. The vulnerability is also described as a buffer overflow in memory, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service.
