VectorAV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions OPC Foundation OPCFoundation.NetStandard.Opc.Ua.Core versions prior to 1.05.374.54
Description A buffer-management issue could allow remote attackers to exhaust memory resources by sending an excessive number of messages from a remote source, potentially leading to a denial of service (DoS) condition and disrupting the normal operation of the system.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.05.374.54, update to version 1.05.374.54 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider implementing rate limiting on incoming messages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Restrict access to the system from untrusted sources to reduce the likelihood of a denial of service (DoS) condition.
