CVE-2024-33979

CVSS v3.1

7.1

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PayPal, Credit Card and Debit Card Payment version 1.0
Description A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue affects the payment system, allowing an attacker to create a specially crafted URL and send it to a victim. The goal is to obtain details of the victim's session cookie via the q, arrival, departure, and accomodation parameters in the "/index.php" endpoint.
Recommendations For version 1.0, consider disabling the parameters q, arrival, departure, and accomodation in the "/index.php" endpoint as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the "/index.php" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the q, arrival, departure, and accomodation parameters in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
