| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
ElementsKit Elementor addons plugin for WordPress versions prior to 3.1.1
Description
The issue allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to include and execute arbitrary files on the server via the
generate navigation markup function of the Onepage Scroll module. This enables the execution of any PHP code in those files, potentially bypassing access controls, obtaining sensitive data, or achieving code execution, especially in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included.Recommendations
For versions prior to 3.1.1, update to version 3.1.1 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
generate navigation markup function of the Onepage Scroll module until a patch is available.Fix
