VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A descriptor leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The iaa compress and iaa decompress functions' disable async paths do not free idxd descriptors when req->dst is set to null. This issue only occurs in test cases. The fix involves adding a test to free the descriptors in these paths. The iaa compress/decompress() functions are affected, specifically when req->dst is null.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
