Description The issue is related to an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing a specially crafted SPP file. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. The vulnerability can be exploited by using specially created SPP files.

Recommendations For Tecnomatix Plant Simulation version V2201, update to a version newer than V2201. For Tecnomatix Plant Simulation version V2302, update to version V2302.0007 or newer. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of SPP files until a patch is available.
