Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Opal Estate Pro – Property Management and Submission plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.7.6
Description
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the
agent latitude and longitude parameters due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.7.6, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
agent latitude and longitude parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
